My artwork pays tribute to the timeless beauty of a 13th-century stone sculpture of Nagaraj, a significant representation of the Naga cult, worshipped for rain, water, happiness, and prosperity in Hindu and Buddhist pantheons. The concrete textures symbolize the fading of our heritage in the contemporary world. Despite some precious pieces being lost and traded abroad, my art radiates hope for heritage preservation. Gilded with golden hues, it underlines their immense value. May this artwork inspire hope, urging us to safeguard and cherish our heritage for future generations, ensuring its eternal presence in our hearts.
