Himalayan Art Festival

E-Arts Nepal, an online art gallery established in 2010, is dedicated to promoting contemporary Nepali art on the global stage. By collaborating with local artists, E-Arts Nepal aims to increase awareness and appreciation of Nepali culture and society around the world.

In 2017, it launched the Himalayan Art Festival, an annual event that brings over 150 contemporary Nepali artists, showcasing a stunning array of paintings, paubha, sculptures, printmaking, installations, and ceramics. It promotes corporate investment in art and provides a platform for local collectors and buyers to explore and engage with Nepali art practices, solidifying its place as a cornerstone of Nepal’s art community.

Beyond just an exhibition, the Himalayan Art Festival is an immersive cultural experience. It features art talks, guided tours, interactive workshops, and the Prashanta Scholarship Award, promoting dialogue and learning within the art community. Each year, a master artist receives recognition for making a significant impact on Nepali art.

Organized in partnership with leading Nepali artist organizations, the Himalayan Art Festival is more than just a celebration of art—it’s a celebration of Nepal’s rich cultural heritage.
