Scattered Pieces
Installation
(ceramic masks, shovels, ceramic hands, stones, and dried leaves)
2021
In “Scattered Pieces,” my art installation delves into an affluent society’s complex assembly of minds. The work symbolizes the relentless slicing and fragmentation of diverse voices subjected to the ruthless chopping board of religious, cultural, and societal influences. Through the use of various materials, including ceramic masks, iron shovels, ceramic hands, stones, and dried leaves, I seek to portray the profound impact of external forces on individual identities. The installation captures the cruel suppression of voices that cry for freedom and self-existence, tearing us into pieces. It serves as a poignant reminder of the struggles we all face in the face of overwhelming power and manipulation.
