Vijay Maharjan, born in Kathmandu, has completed his Master Degree in Fine arts (sculpture) from TU. He is one of the talented fine sculptor who has worked in National Museum of Nepal as a replica maker in 2007. He has also worked as an art teacher in Lincoln School for 3 years (2010-2013). He received National award for Sculpture from Nepal Academy of Fine Arts and Monument Sculpture Design Award in 2007. He has made many bust sculptures of famous people of Nepal including Ganesh Man Singh, Tenzing Norgye, and others God and Goddess of Nepal.
