Gehendra Man Amatya
Gehendra Man Amatya (b 1993 B.S.) did his B.Com. from Trichandra College (Patna University). Along with that he has taken short training on Drawing and Color combination with artist Chandra Man Singh Maskey, training of Modern Art in Royal Hotel with French Artist Necolai Michalouskin, training of Design & Commercial Art in Ford Foundation Training Centre – Department of Cottage Industries in Tripureswor by German Art Teacher Alex Walder Maan. He was involved as an Artist in Department of Publicity form 2016-2041 B.S., Publication officer from 2041 to 2049B.S. Twenty eight solo painting exhibitions to his credit in Nepal, India and USA, he has participated in numerious group exhibitions in Nepal, India and in many countries. Participated in various workshops including Kakani workshop 2018 B.S. organized by King Mahendra. He has won several awards including First Prize in the international children exhibition at New Delhi India in 2009 B.S, Consolation Prize in the First National Art Exhibition organized by NAFA in 2022 B.S., PremduttaGomaTripathiSwirityPuraskar in 2068 B.S. He has been honored by various medals such as GorkhaDakshinBahu in 2041 B.S, JanapadSewaPadak in 2031 B.S., Coronation Medal in 2031 B.S., SAARC Medal in 1963 A.D., DirgaSewaPadak in 2045 B.S., Letter of Feliciation -200 times.
