Laya Mainali’s sculpture depicts the geometric form of the feminine torso, which he has described as “TheSacred Feminine”. It’s a religious feeling that emphasizes femininity as being closed to divine power or worshipped. His female torsos are bold, visually textured and coloured on bronze casting, where we can feel the solid forms of volume. And his animal series is about intimate love for animals and nature.
